Woodfest: Always held the 2nd weekend in April at the Sedro-Woolley High School gym on 3rd St. This is a sanctioned event of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival held in the month of April in Mount Vernon. For more info see: www.tulipfestival.org

Blast from the Past: Always the first weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) in June. Craft Vendors can be found on Metcalf Street, with other events held at Hammer Heritage Square, on Murdock Street near the Museum and in other areas of downtown.
Outdoor Movies: Held every Friday night in July (with exception of the first Friday due to Loggerodeo). Held on the corner of Warner and Walley Streets in the Masonic Lodge grassy area.
Loggerodeo: The week of July 4th. Washington State’s oldest continuous 4th of July celebration. Various entertainment such as a Kiddies Parade, Carnival, Rodeo, Chainsaw Carving Events, Craft & Food vendors, and of course the Grand Parade at 11AM on the 4th. Founders’ Day: Second weekend in September. Saturday brings the Museum’s reenactment of the 1914 bank robbery in front of the Museum on Murdock Street, and a chili cook-off at Hammer Heritage Square. Sunday is the car show, and hot dog picnic at Riverfront Park.

Upper Skagit Bald Eagle Watching: December through February. Eagles can be seen between Sedro-Woolley and Newhalem. Contact the Skagit River Interpretive Center for more details.
Magic of Christmas: First Saturday in December. Children’s activities such as train and pony rides, and other various goings on begin at 3pm. The lighting of the giant Christmas tree at 5pm kicks off the Santa parade.
Breakfast with Santa: Second Saturday in December. Children receive a toy stocking, candy cane and breakfast with Santa.
Holiday Home Tour: Second Saturday in December. Visit 19th Century architecturally designed Sedro-Woolley heritage homes decorated for the holidays.
